Superdry & Co has secured a refinancing package worth £70 million to underpin its next stage of retail expansion and international growth. The arrangement is split between a £60 million committed asset-based lending facility and a separate £10 million trade finance facility.

The new senior borrowing replaces the turnaround arrangements the group put in place during 2023 with UK lenders Bantry Bay Capital and Hilco Capital. According to the company, the restructuring will improve its annualised interest cost base by around £5 million — a meaningful saving for a business that has spent several years tightening its operations.
