Your Complete Guide to the Autumn/Winter 2027 Trade Show Season
From Amsterdam's SHIFT to Shanghai's Intertextile, plan the autumn/winter 2027 buying season with our month-by-month guide to fashion and fabric trade shows.
The first quarter of the year is when the industry’s calendar fills up fast. While autumn/winter 2027 collections are being presented from January to March, fabric suppliers are already looking further ahead to spring/summer 2028. Expect weeks of travel, showroom appointments, networking and order writing — here is how the season unfolds, from Amsterdam to Shanghai.
January: the season opens in Amsterdam and Florence
The buying year begins on the first Monday of January at the Kromhouthal in Amsterdam-Noord. SHIFT is a business-to-business matchmaking event covering womenswear and menswear, with a programme of lectures and workshops that also welcomes retail staff.
Internationally, attention turns to Florence, where Pitti Uomo — one of the leading menswear trade shows in the world — presents the AW27 collections at the Fortezza da Basso. The theme of the 111th edition is “Wild”. Milan follows immediately with its menswear collections for the season; the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana publishes its show calendar a few weeks in advance.
Paris, Frankfurt and Brussels in the same stretch
Who’s Next opens the Parisian season at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, aimed at international buyers and fashion professionals with apparel, accessories and lifestyle products. At the same venue and on the same dates, Bijorhca presents new jewellery and costume jewellery, while the Salon International de la Lingerie (SIL) shows lingerie and swimwear collections.
Just outside Frankfurt in Hofheim, Innatex is the international trade fair for sustainable textiles and natural fashion, covering womenswear, menswear, kidswear and lifestyle labels. A week after its womenswear edition, Cast returns with Preview Men, gathering domestic and international menswear brands from formal to casual in the same accessible layout.
On the same Monday, Trade Mart Brussels opens the Belgian season with Sneak Peek Fashion. Retailers can view womenswear, menswear, kidswear, footwear and accessories collections in one place in a relaxed setting.
New York and the children’s circuit
In New York, the season starts with materials: Première Vision New York brings fabrics, yarns and haberdashery from international suppliers to Tribeca 360, primarily for designers and product developers. Messe Frankfurt’s Texworld New York City covers fabrics and trims for brands and product developers, and Apparel Sourcing New York City connects garment manufacturers with brands looking to diversify or relocate production.
One week after Pitti Uomo, the Fortezza da Basso turns to kidswear. Pitti Bimbo, the children’s fair by Pitti Immagine, describes itself as the most important kidswear trade show in the world; the 104th edition runs for two days.
During Paris menswear fashion week, the Copenhagen International Fashion Fair (CIFF) Paris Showroom returns to 135 Rue du Temple in Le Marais, where Scandinavian and international brands present to buyers already in the city. Modefabriek returns to Expo Greater Amsterdam in Vijfhuizen, showing womenswear and menswear together alongside footwear, accessories and lifestyle, with a renewed selection of Dutch and international brands. A day later, kidswear takes centre stage in Nieuwegein: Preview Kids is a compact addition to the major international kidswear fairs in Florence and Paris.
Fabric fairs shift earlier
Like Première Vision, Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris moves to January this year and marks its 30th anniversary, with more than 1,000 exhibitors expected at Paris-Le Bourget showing fabrics and garment manufacturing for SS28. The world’s premier fabric trade show then moves to the end of January at Paris Nord Villepinte, presenting fabrics, yarns, leather and trims for SS28, with India in the spotlight through its own pavilion.
February: Germany, Scandinavia, Spain and the United States
Düsseldorf Fashion Days (DFD), organised by Fashion Net Düsseldorf, opens more than 600 showrooms across the city to buyers, with the trade fairs Supreme Women & Men and Twodays taking place as part of the programme. Right in the middle of DFD, Supreme Women & Men shows premium womenswear and menswear across 4,500 square metres. Twodays by Igedo Exhibitions runs in Hall 29 with fashion, footwear, bags and accessories. Berlin Fashion Week presents the AW27 collections over four days at various locations, including the new RAUM.Berlin, where 12 designers show in their own spaces.
After Florence, kidswear buyers can head to Paris: Playtime Paris has long been the destination for children’s and teen brands with a distinctive, design-led approach, complemented by maternity and lifestyle products. At Trade Mart Brussels, more than 150 brands present their latest collections at the Fashion & Accessories Happening, with everything available directly from stock to select, pay for and take away.
Early February shifts the focus to footwear, bags and accessories with Preview Footwear & Accessories, a two-day event. Copenhagen Fashion Week then showcases the AW27 collections and remains a key fixture for buyers of Scandinavian fashion. Mid-fashion week at the Bella Center, CIFF 68 brings together established and emerging brands primarily from Denmark and Sweden; since 2023, Revolver has been integrated into CIFF, and CIFF Kids runs concurrently as the only Scandinavian trade fair dedicated specifically to kidswear since 2004.
In Madrid, Momad brings apparel, footwear and accessories together at IFEMA — a strong addition for buyers seeking Southern European brands. In the US, Coterie is the leading trade fair for contemporary womenswear, held at the Javits Center alongside MAGIC New York and Sourcing New York and open exclusively to trade visitors. Back in Germany, Preview Raw Materials concludes the winter series at Cast, aimed not at retailers but at brands and product developers sourcing fabrics and raw materials for upcoming collections.
A new addition is Chapter, the German B2B platform by Modefabriek, located at Fredenhagen in Offenbach near Frankfurt, with an initial line-up including Pom Amsterdam, Jansen Amsterdam, Tessa Koops, Sofie Schnoor and White Stuff. Shortly after Coterie, New York Fashion Week presents the AW27 collections and opens the series of the four major fashion weeks, followed by London, Milan and Paris. In Munich, the Supreme Group closes the German order season at the MTC World of Fashion with a focus on luxury and premium womenswear and menswear.
Mid-February turns to footwear and bags at Trade Mart Brussels, where the Shoes & Bags Open Days give retailers a first look at new collections. The venue’s major fixture for children’s retailers, Kids World Days, brings more than 300 brands together with kidswear and baby products, with free admission. In London, Scoop at Olympia National covers established and emerging fashion and lifestyle labels; Pure London no longer takes place in the capital and instead forms part of Spring Fair, running from 7 to 10 February at the NEC in Birmingham.
Las Vegas and London
The US retail industry gathers at the Las Vegas Convention Center, where MAGIC showcases womenswear and young contemporary labels while Offprice offers immediate stock at the same venue. Project runs concurrently with contemporary menswear, and Sourcing at MAGIC connects manufacturers and material suppliers with brands and buyers.
Shortly after Scoop, London Fashion Week presents the AW27 collections, provisionally scheduled from 18 to 22 February and known for championing emerging design talent alongside established names. On 22 February, the Monday Opening Baby & Kids sees Trade Mart host its Retail Happening in the atrium, with activities, inspiring talks and stands. Positioned between London and Paris, Milano Moda Donna presents the womenswear collections for AW27 on the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana schedule.
March: the season closes in Paris and Shanghai
At the end of February, Trade Mart Brussels reopens the fashion and accessories showrooms of its &go department, again with items available directly from stock.
By this point most trade shows have wrapped up, and the season officially concludes with the womenswear shows at Paris Fashion Week, running from Monday 1 to Tuesday 9 March. Alongside the runways, showrooms across the city open their doors to buyers.
At the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai, Messe Frankfurt’s Intertextile Shanghai attracted more than 3,000 exhibitors in 2026, and the yarn fair Yarn Expo runs concurrently. In the same venue and on the same dates, the China International Fashion Fair (CHIC) is one of Asia’s largest fashion trade fairs, with apparel and accessories from Chinese and international brands.
The final appointment takes place in Brussels, where Trade Mart opens its fashion and accessories showrooms one last time to present the latest spring collections, available directly from stock.
